At HWL we aim to offer all of our employees career development within the HWL Windows Group, our employees are the heart of our business so investing in them and their skillset is paramount for us. An empowered team with the knowledge they need combined with company benefits and reward schemes such as our Employee of the Month Scheme helps us keep the best fabricators working for us, in turn this gives our customers the best products!  
Training and Employment
We pride ourselves on having a highly skilled and motivated team and this is why we developed our Employee Referral Scheme in early 2015. This scheme benefits employees and HWL alike in offering us new employees that come highly recommended from our valued fabricators, who are given a bonus for every sucessful candidate they recommend. This means that we no longer recruit from the doors and windows market and train our fabricators from the ground up in all areas of manufacturing. At this point in time 28% of our employees have joined us through this scheme and we're really proud of this achievement. We find that this process both gives those new employees a skill and carreer path whilst reducing our staff turnover and increasing efficiency.
We offer all of our employees the opportunity to better their education with the offer of NVQ's for our suitable employees. in 2016 all of our order processors will be embarking in an NVQ2 in Customer Service in order to grow their knowledge and better service our customers.
